Resisting capitalism by learning to share our financial resources
We can resist capitalism by learning to share our financial resources. Yes, that includes giving money to people, but there's many more options too! Mutual aid can look like lots of different things.
Some ideas for anti-capitalists:
someone with a high credit score can cosign a home lease or even a loan for someone with a low credit score (but you’ll need a plan for how you’ll navigate a missed payment together!)
a rainy day fund could be for a group of people (with agreements about how the money gets collected, stored, and used)
a group of friends or a polycule could buy a house together (with a plan to navigate conflict, a way to pay for maintenance, and a strategy for how someone can leave)
you can write members of your chosen family into your will and/or life insurance policy (with clarity and consent!)
